Bottom Line Accounting opened in Virginia in 2015, but its story began in Maine. While our family was stationed there in support of my husband’s military career, I ran my first accounting firm and saw firsthand how important it is to have financial systems that are accessible and support growth.
Our team shares that same vision today. We’re business owners, parents, partners, caregivers, and community builders — people who know what it’s like to balance multiple priorities. That’s why we approach bookkeeping with both professionalism and patience, helping clients feel confident and supported while they focus on running their businesses.
Erin Johnson
Erin Johnson is the owner and founder of Bottom Line Accounting. Her first accounting and bookkeeping firm was in Maine where her family served 10 years alongside her husband at Brunswick Naval Air Station.
After her husband’s retirement from active duty service, they planted roots, here, in Hampton Roads. Erin is an entrepreneur at heart and knew she would start another accounting firm as soon as the opportunity arose.
Her formal education is in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting. She loves football, proudly supports our military, and has been known to work more than a few late nights to get the job done. She understands what it means to own and run a successful business. Her passion is working with other entrepreneurs – the people who are the backbone of America.
